Still cold

The weather is really still not warm enough to stand outside cleaning out the pool. I hate the start of season clean up at the best of times. I am carrying out weekly tests on pH and chlorine to keep the pool at optimum levels. Fiddly tests that I will be glad to be rid of when we have the JEP unit up and running. I am wondering if I can persuade my husband - who never cleans out the pool - that it is time to get a pool robot.
However, as someone who retails these things, I know that the best robots are also the dearest. Normally pool users will start with the cheaper robots and gradually creep up in efficiency and cost to the dearer ones, as they find the cheaper ones do not always meet their expectations. I am wanting the Sweepy M3 at 2679€ ttc or maybe the Tiger Shark at 2900€ ttc, however, as he is Scottish - he will probably think it is better for our bank balance if I keep on with the manual cleaning!
